We provide innovative oil & gas storage and transportation solutions and large special equipment for the global natural gas energy, petrochemical and offshore engineering industries. Our products include ultra-large LNG\LEG\LPG\LCO2 gas carrier cargo tank, fuel tank and cargo handling system, LNG fuel gas supply system, LNG gasification module and large wind farm equipment, petrochemical pressure vessels, port machinery equipment and so on. We also provide professional ship repairing and retrofit services to the shipping industry.

We are established in September 2008, initiated by Shanghai Watts Gallop Holding Group. We locate at the Qidong Marine Industrial Park and covers a total area of 660,000m² with a total investment of 2 Billion RMB. And we also have set up an engineering technology center in Shanghai (Cryolobe Gas Technology Co., Ltd.).

Watts Energy has set up perfect standard of Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, Energy Management systems, and we have approved by DNV-GL/BV/LR/CCS for workshop auditing, also achieved ASME (U/U2) certificate, special equipment manufacturing qualification for A1/A2 pressure vessel, GC2 pressure piping and portal & container crane, and successfully obtained CMA, CNAS laboratory qualification certificate. Meanwhile, we have established a professional quality control team of IWE international welding engineer and CWI registered welding inspector certificate.

Based on our rich experience in international project management, we have successfully designed and delivered multiple types of LNG\LEG\LPG\LCO2 cargo tanks, fuel tanks, cargo handling systems and fuel gas supply systems to domestic and foreign customers. We also provide many types of large pressure vessels, towers, reactors, wind power piles, turbine towers, jacket platforms and portal cranes, bridge cranes, continuous stackers and reclaimers, ship loaders, ship unloaders, etc. special equipment and services to chemical, wind power, port logistics industry customers.

Yan Zhengyun
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Yan holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and is a Senior Engineer. He has extensive experience in construction spanning more than 27 years, and has managed key projects in shipbuilding and offshore and has also contributed to specialized construction projects for the Chinese Navy. He has been behind a number of technology patents related to the industry and has received several national and local awards for his services. He is also member of a selected group of industry experts in Jiangsu, China.

Dr. Zhao Ye
Chief Technology Officer

Once served as CSSC’s Marine Design & Research Institute Chief Engineer, Dr. Zhao focused on general design, new vessel research and technical management for several key projects at home and abroad. As the industry expert, he also attended compilation and review for marine research and development planning organized by COSTIND and MOST. Besides, on behalf of China, he attended the UN IMO Maritime Security Conference.

Watts Offshore & Engineering has a professional liquefied gas ship design team, rich experience in designing small and medium liquefied gas carriers (LNG\LEG\LPG) with continuously innovative design ability; formed a complete design chain of product development, basic design, detail design, production design, engineering supervision and on-site technical service

At present, Watts Offshore & Engineering focuses on the development of independent C-type cryogenic cargo tanks, LNG fuel storage and gas supply systems, cargo handling system of liquefied gas carrier, and provides related systems design, integration, equipment supply, technical consulting and other services to marine and offshore engineering companies.

Our design department cooperated with foreign well-known gas engineering companies, have successfully developed 27,500m³ LNG dual fuel carrier, 85,000m³ VLEC gas carrier and offshore engineering products. We have the ability to independently research and design C-type cargo tanks. The 85,000m³ VLEC cargo tank designed by the company is currently the world's largest independent C-type cargo tank with a single tank volume of 23,100m³. At the same time, the company has a rich experience of LNG fuel gas supply system, gasification / liquefaction module design development

We are capable of developing independent ship types and have designed series of international mainstream liquefied gas ships; the technical performance and economic index of some of our independently developed and designed products have reached the world advanced level, becoming the world's brand ship type.

Watts Offshore & Engineering has experienced offshore design team, professional offshore project management team, as well as highly efficient design software and information management platform, has formed the detailed design, production design, and on-site service abilities of pressure vessel, port machinery and offshore products.

Our technical department cooperated with well-known foreign offshore engineering companies, have developed the floating LNG receiving station (FSRU), floating production storage (FPSO), modular design technology, mooring design technology and other special offshore engineering equipments, among which, the technologies concerning floating LNG receiving station (FSRU) are at the domestic leading level.

Watts Offshore & Engineering has a rich experience in design and deliver pressure vessels, towers, and specializes in the design and manufacture of port machinery, wind power pipe piles, and heavy steel structures etc. Port machinery products mainly include: port gantry cranes, shipyard portal cranes, shipbuilding gantry cranes, loading and unloading bridges, shore container cranes, rail-type container cranes, general gantry cranes, general-purpose bridge cranes, bulk cargo handling machinery, etc.
