On June 6th, 2018, the 18 pressure vessels project of Zhejiang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is successfully started in the WOE manufacturing workshop.
The smooth start of the project marks our target product extends from offshore to inshore. It’s not only an important milestone for our transformation, but also a phased achievement of the diversified business strategy. This project is the first project after the company obtains the self-manufacturing qualification of pressure vessels, and is another strategic product outside the cargo tanks.
The 18 pressure vessels undertaken by WOE have a maximum length of 17 meters, a maximum diameter of 8.2 meters and a maximum weight of 164 tons. The owner is Zhejiang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. The total investment of Zhejiang Petrochemical Refining and Chemical Integration projectis 173 billion RMB. After the project is completed, it will have a production capacity of 40 million tons/year of refining, 8 million tons/year of P-xylene and 2.8 million tons/year of Ethylene.
